Huawei partners with RCOM to launch 3G Wi-Fi dongles and 3G Mi-Fi devices

Huawei, on Monday announced a partnership with Reliance Communications to offer 2GB of free 3G data on Huawei’s new 3G Wi-Fi dongles & 3G Mi-Fi devices.

To enjoy this benefit, customers must activate the device with a Reliance SIM card account with a dongle FRC (First Recharge) and will get additional 2GB of 3G data access. Both Mobi-Fi E5220 & Power-Fi E8231 are designed to suit the needs of Indian consumers, allowing users to access the Internet wherever they go, and connect up to 10 devices simultaneously. After the first recharge, customers can continue to enjoy attractively-priced high-speed 3G data through a range of Circle-specific exciting plans from Reliance Communications.

“Our partnership with Reliance Communications is an initiative in the direction of connecting more Indians to the Internet highway. Huawei recently bagged ‘India’s Top Data Card Company for the Year 2013-14’ Award at the Annual Cyber Media ICT Awards event. Huawei continues to be the world’s largest data card company and also India’s largest data card brand, having sold over 1 million data cards over the last 18 months in the open market. Huawei has introduced several industry firsts in the Indian market–Wi-Fi data cards that allow consumers to connect up to 10 devices and the freedom to create Wi-Fi hotspots by plugging data cards into any power source at home, in cars etc.
