Trying to make an impact in the budget smartphone segment, Microsoft Devices will launch the Lumia 640 and Lumia 640XL in India on Tuesday. The Lumia 640XL, one of the largest phones from the Lumia stable with a 5.7-inch screen, could appeal to the mid segment users who want extra real estate.

Both the new Lumia smartphones offer one-year free subscription to Microsoft Office 365. Featuring a 5-inch 720p HD display, the Lumia 640 comes with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and a 1MP front camera. It runs on a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 CPU with 1GB of RAM and 8GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB and Adreno 305 GPU.
