Panasonic India launches Eluga Mark 4G smartphone

NEW DELHI: Panasonic India on Thursday launched Eluga Mark smartphone at Rs 11,990.
The new device is powered by Android 5.1 (Lollipop) OS and a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon octa core processor.

Eluga Mark features 2GB RAM plus 16GB internal memory, expandable up to 32GB and a 13 megapixel rear camera optimized by LED flash and a 5 megapixel front facing lens.

It comes with 4GLTE connectivity including advanced A-GPS global positioning technology, the dual SIM model runs on a mega-capacity 2500 mAh battery.

“With the growing use of smartphones for a wider range of high-risk activities such as access to cloud data and private information, mobile security is a top priority for users,” Pankaj Rana, Business Head – Mobility Division, Panasonic India said.

In 2016, according to Rana, company would be focusing on “Make in India” and 4G enabled devices by targeting international markets and regions.
