Spice Mobility named Dilip Modi as the executive chairman of the company at a board meeting held on Tuesday.

In addition to his current responsibilities as the chairman of the board, Modi will now also handle the business operations of the company and focus on business expansion across India.

Spice Mobility is a mobile internet solutions provider with an integrated business model comprising affordable smartphones, smartphone retail stores, managed mobility and IT services for leading telecom operators and technology platforms for driving financial inclusion and skill development across emerging markets.

Head quartered in Noida, the company comprises three business units – Spice Mobiles, Spice Hotspot and Spice Digital.
