Mobile payments: MobiKwik launches new Windows app

MobiKwik, the Mobile Wallet with 12 million users, today announced the launch of the new version of its Windows app. The app offers a faster checkout experience with saved cards, bug fixes, an enhanced user interface and an easily navigable design.

The new version comes equipped with all the services of MobiKwik. It is a small-size app which works seamlessly on 3G as well as 2G connections.

Users simply have to park money in their MobiKwik wallets and make online transactions with one single click. The app enables simpler, faster and hassle-free payments by eliminating the need to hop between merchants, payment gateways, banks etc. It also offers multiple payment options via credit card, debit card and net banking. It supports Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Diners & Discover cards besides Internet banking of a comprehensive list of more than 50 Indian banks.

Additionally, one can share the balance in one’s wallet with friends and family using the P2P Money Transfer service or directly pick contacts from one’s phone contact list to recharge.

Customers can store up to Rs. 50,000 in their MobiKwik wallets and use this amount to purchase goods and services on third party merchant websites and mobile applications.
