Larsen & Toubro Limited’s construction arm has bagged orders worth Rs 1,247 crores in the building & factories and power transmission & distribution businesses.

L&T in a BSE filing said its buildings and factories vertical has secured a prestigious turnkey order worth Rs 989 crore for construction of IT park in Bengaluru. Its power transmission and distribution businesses bagged an international order worth Rs 258 crore from Oman Electricity Transmission company for construction of new 132 kV grid stations.
Larsen & Toubro is an Indian multinational engaged in technology, engineering, construction, manufacturing and financial services with over $15 billion in revenue. It operates in over 30 countries worldwide.

Shares of L&T were trading 1.32 per cent up at Rs 1190.30 at around 12.20 pm on Tuesday.
